on Thursday 29th November 2007

I played a "Topping out" party for Urban Splash

this is a ritual in the building trade where the top floor of a building has been finished,you may have noticed that

the walls have not yet been put in,

A PA System was hoisted in via a craine to celebrate this the Topping out party of the new "Chips" Building in Ancoats,

Of course Chips were on the menue as well as a ship type launch by Chairman Tom Bloxham with a bottle of Tomato Ketchup (What else Eh!!) Tom also endorsed my song about his compaly Urban Splash,The wind was howling through on what tuned out to be a freezing November day,Speeches were made Chips were eaten and I played a few songs on what maybe someones living room in 12 months time,

You never know where this job will take you,I wonder where next

Comedy night

Eh!! I just want to say "Ta"
to everyone who turned up to support
the comedy night at Bigwigs tonight,
it turned out to be a "Top night"
Loads of dosh raised for M/C road School

New CD on the way

Yip it's happening that's 2 CDs this year
How much punishment can the British public take :-)
And as a little bonus track I have added a song
that I get asked to play everywhere I go
in the Manchester Area, Because I play
origional local songs people have suggested
that I should also sing local songs from the past,
and one reason for this is because they can't be bought
on CD format,well one such song has been at the front
of this campaign, The song is called
"Collyhurst Road"
and today I have recorded an acoustic version
so people can finally get it on CD
This song will be on my new CD out in time for Christmas.
I am going now, I got loads to do.
