A flight from hell

Just got back from America
We took a flight last Wednesday
from Las Vegas to New York
we already knew thet there was
bad weather in NY but we didn't
know what we was in for as we arrived.
We was told that we had to circle for an hour
around the airport because of the extreme weather
The Captain then announced that he would be
attempting a landing and there will be all the emergency
services waiting for us,(The fills you full of confidence)
or something,Well we finally hit the ground as an eary silence
came to an end with cheers, my mate announced I need a cig
Ye I said I might start smoking myself,
because I had no finger nails left,
Moral, enjoy life because you never know when it will, end

out of town for a week

A good week again Tour of Stockport 05

Ey ,its been a good week again
I played a short set at the Blue Cat Caf'e
in Stockport on Monday,then I played
a full set at The Lowes Arms in Woodley
That went down well, they like me there
and just for the record I like them,
but in a friendly not a loving way

this gig is sold out to around
2,700 people
my biggest live audience by far
It's gonna be a wild night
I have to waite now for a call
from the shows manager to make
some final arrangements,A very good
friend of mine (Sharon)
said to me at the Christmas table
"This is going to be a big year for you"
Wow it looks like she was right.

The daft thing about this year is that
I am either getting great phonecalls or
when I get home and turn on my computer
something brilliant is happening.I know I have
put in the ground work,but I still get this massive
buzz when something like the Dave Spikey call came through.
